1987: Zamagias Properties is officially founded by Michael G. Zamagias and locates to The Times Building (Pittsburgh, PA) where its corporate headquarters can still be found.
1988: Zamagias Properties puts together its signature deal—Robinson Town Centre, a 766-acre, mixed use, $500-million, three-phase development ideally located between downtown Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh International Airport on Routes 60 and 22/30 in Robinson Township, PA.
1989: Robinson Town Centre opens for business.
1989: Michael Zamagias is awarded the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Pittsburgh Renovation of the Year Award for the complete interior renovation of The Times Building in downtown Pittsburgh.
1992: Michael Zamagias becomes sole investor in TeleTracking Technologies, Inc.
2001: Zamagias Properties partners with Rabil Properties (to form RAMZ, LLC) in the development of a student-housing (172 beds) and retail (15,000 s.f.) location near Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
2008: Zamagias Properties celebrates the complete renovation of the Richland Mall in Gibsonia, PA, along with the grand opening of a LEED-certified green building—a Kohl’s Department Store.
2009: Zamagias Properties partners with Bethany College (Bethany, WV) to completely renovate Cochran Hall into state-of-the-art student apartments.
2011: The popular home fashions retailer, HomeGoods, opened its first store in the Pittsburgh market at Robinson Town Centre.
2011: Michael Zamagias purchased a fast-casual wood-fired pizza and sandwich concept called City Oven, pursuing the concept of a business that would employ and mentor entrepreneurial teens and adults from underprivileged backgrounds.
2012: City Oven opens for business in its second location in The Times Building, Downtown Pittsburgh, PA.
2012: Zamagias begins redevelopment of a historic 50,000-square-foot tobacco warehouse into a mixed-use building, including apartments, commercial and retail uses in Lancaster, PA.
2014: Zamagias Properties receives honorable mention for the 2014 Historic Development that Best Exemplifies Major Community Impact for Steeple View Lofts, Lancaster, PA.
2017: Zamagias Properties completes the historical renovation of The Keppel Building in Lancaster, PA. The 80,000-square-foot project includes 36 loft apartments and over 17,000 square feet of retail and office space.
2017: Zamagias acquires and begins redevelopment of a 200,000-square-foot former Hess’ department store in the heart of Lancaster City, PA. The mixed-use project will include ground floor retail, 2 floors of offices and apartments, and luxury condominiums on the 4th floor.
